Old Kennedy Development Phase II

The Subject Lands is about 3.87 Acres and is under Milliken Secondary plan with Mixed Use High Rise Designation. It is within a network of centres and corridors with connections to rapid transit. It is about 10 minute walk to Milliken Go Train Station. Architectural concept design considers the highest and best use of the site which yields 4 buildings with proposed 1,097,582 sq ft GFA and 1400 units. The development is focus on accommodating intensification and higher-density mixed uses in a more compact built form.

The development offers a mix and range of housing types including affordable and shared housing; provides convenient access to community facilities such as schools and parks; facilitates connections to the open space system to create opportunities for passive uses, active recreational activities; and provides access to a mix of uses and live/work opportunities to reduce the number of vehicular trips by focusing density around Major Transit Station Areas which are areas served by high order transit.
