Garden Ave

The Garden Avenue project is a semi-detached residential development located in Toronto, designed by Z Square Architect. The project features a pair of semi-detached homes, each offering approximately 2,600 square feet of living space, thoughtfully planned to meet the expectations of modern urban families.
The design approach focuses on blending traditional architectural character with contemporary detailing. The primary material palette is anchored by classic red brick, a timeless element commonly found in Toronto’s residential neighborhoods. This is complemented by modern black ACM (aluminum composite material) panels and warm-toned wood cladding, creating a balanced composition that feels both familiar and refreshed.
The façade design carefully integrates these materials to achieve visual contrast and depth while maintaining a cohesive overall appearance. The proportions of windows, entrances, and vertical elements are designed to align with the surrounding streetscape, ensuring that the homes feel well integrated within the neighborhood context.
Internally, each unit is efficiently organized to maximize usable space and natural light. The layouts are tailored for family living, providing a comfortable balance between shared living areas and private spaces. Large openings and carefully positioned windows enhance daylight penetration, contributing to a bright and inviting interior environment.
The Garden Avenue project exemplifies Z Square Architect’s approach to residential design—respecting traditional context while introducing contemporary elements to meet evolving lifestyle needs.
